Eric Frankie

CEO, Founder

Eric Frankie has been practicing law in Michigan for more than 33 years, with the majority of his career spent representing individuals throughout Southeast Michigan. His practice focuses primarily on employment law, workers’ compensation, disability law, and related civil rights matters.

Eric earned his Bachelor of Arts degree, summa cum laude, from Wayne State University in 1989 and his law degree from Wayne State University Law School in 1992. He was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in November of that year.

Early in his legal career, Eric served as judicial assistant to the Honorable John H. Hausner of the Wayne County Circuit Court from 1993 to 1994, giving him valuable insight into the judicial process from inside the courtroom. He went on to develop extensive litigation and trial experience with Goodman, Eden, Millender and Bedrosian from 1995 to 1999 and Miller Cohen from 1999 to 2008.

Throughout his career, Eric’s practice has been grounded in a commitment to protecting the rights of individuals, particularly workers, people with disabilities, and those who may otherwise have difficulty obtaining legal representation. His work reflects a longstanding commitment to civil rights, access to justice, and advocacy for people facing powerful employers, institutions, and insurance systems.

That commitment has also extended to pro bono service. In 2010, Eric received the State Bar of Michigan’s John W. Cummiskey Pro Bono Award in recognition of his contributions to providing legal services to those unable to afford representation. In 2018, he received the Monroe County Pro Bono Award for outstanding service to low-income individuals.

Today, Eric continues to serve clients throughout Southeast Michigan, bringing decades of litigation experience and a client-focused approach to matters involving employment rights, workers’ compensation, and disability-related legal issues.
